Registration for Morrison Junior Tackle Football is open. Any Morrison, IL, boy or girl going into 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, who wishes to play, needs to sign up at https://www.quickscores.com/mjt. Equipment handout will be Thursday, July 22, and Friday, July 23, 2021, at Morrison sports Complex, 315 Bishop Road, Morrison. Players may register those nights as well.
Registration times are
- 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. for 7th and 8th grade players
- 6:30 until 7:30 for 5th and 6th grade players.
The cost for participation is $100. The fee must be paid, or a payment plan must be set up, before players will receive their equipment.
All fifth graders and any new players will be required to buy a jersey for $20. Boys and girls may wear a jersey from a previous year, if it fits over shoulder pads.
Practice begins Monday, August 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Morrison Junior High School, 300 Academic Drive, Morrison.
