Dwight A. Varner, 80, of Sterling, IL, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Rock River Hospice and Home of Sterling.
Dwight was born March 13, 1941, in Sterling, the son of Doris Ballard.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; brother-in-laws, Jim (Jan) Wiemken, Don Wiemken; cousin, Patricia Pitts of Sterling; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Varner; daughter Gweyn Varner; brothers-in-law, Glen Wiemken and Dewayn Wiemken.
Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation of Sterling, IL, with Pastor Brad Wilson, officiating.
Visitation will take place prior to Funeral Service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
Burial will follow and take place at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established.
