The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Friday, May 28, 2021.
Arrests: On Friday, May 28, 2021, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Amanda J. Daniels, age 38 of Galesburg, IL, in the 600 block of Portland Avenue for a registration violation. As a result of the stop, Morrison Police arrested and charged Daniels with Driving While License Suspended, and pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Henry County, charging Daniels with Failure to Appear-Driving While License Suspended. Daniels posted the required bond and was released.
On Sunday, May 30, 2021, at approximately 12:08 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Melvin T. Hill, age 32 of Chicago, IL, in the 400 block of E. Lincolnway for a moving violation. As a result of the stop, Morrison Police issued Hill a Citation for No Valid Driver’s License and arrested Hill pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Cook County, charging Hill with Violation of Probation. Hill was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Monday, May 31, 2021, at approximately 5:15 a.m., Morrison Police responded to Casey’s General Store, 602 E. Lincolnway, regarding a report of a suspicious vehicle. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Thomas A. Dyson, age 21 of Chadwick, IL, with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Dyson was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and then released with a Notice to Appear.
On Friday, June 4, 2021, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Kathleen M. Dunmore, age 33 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Dunmore with Failure to Appear-Driving While License Suspended. Dunmore was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
