Joining Morrison Rotary for lunch on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, were Emily Davis and Ryan Mayberry, March Students of the Month.
Emily is the daughter of Mike Davis and Kari Horack. She plays the clarinet in band and is the drum major as well. She is a member of BLIND, a newly-formed program at Morrison High School, and is also the Vice-President of Key Club. She is actively involved in the community as a member of the First Presbyterian Church Youth Group and serves meals at the Victory Center homeless shelter in Clinton, IA. She is a volunteer at Happy Tails Animal Shelter in Rock Falls, IL. Davis enjoys hiking, four-wheeling, and just being outdoors at her grandfather’s farm. She also plays the piano and loves to cook. Emily plans to attend Iowa State University to major in Agronomy.
Ryan Mayberry is the son of Karen and Marvin Mayberry. Ryan is on the football and track teams. He enjoys fishing, running, playing pool, football, and lifting. Mayberry plans to attend college for Engineering or Physical Therapy.
