March 18 Sheriff’s Report

03-10-14 at 8:50 p.m.  Deputies stopped a vehicle in Sterling, IL,  where the driver, Christopher G. Hicks, age 35 of Polo, IL, had an expired Driver’s License.  He was arrested for the offense of No Valid Driver’s License and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
 
03-10-14 at 10:44 p.m.  Melissa L. Kinser, age 45 of Sterling, IL, was arrested following a report of a vehicle stuck in a snow bank on Fulfs Road north of Sterling.  She was processed at the Sterling Police Department for DUI and Improper Driving on Shoulder of Roadway.  Sauk Valley Towing assisted on scene.
 
03/12/14 at 12:54 a.m.  Angel M. Cuatlauatl, age 24 of Clinton, IA, was stopped at the intersection on Illinois Route 84 and Illinois Route 136 for no registration lights.  Upon further investigation, it was discovered Angel was driving on a suspended license.  Angel was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.  Midwest Towing assisted on scene.
 
03/14/14 at 8:25 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3800 block of U. S. Route 30 for a vehicle with one headlight.  Jennifer L. Daniels, age 33 of Clinton, IA. was arrested as a passenger for an outstanding warrant.  Jennifer was transported to the Whiteside County Jail and held in lieu of bond.  Fulton Police Department assisted on scene.
 
03/15/14 at 12:40 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of U. S. Route 30 and Jackson Street in Morrison, IL, for an expired registration sticker.  Furtherance with the stop it resulted in a 16-year-old male being cited for driving with No Valid License and released from the scene.
 
03-15-14 at 0450 a.m.  Patti Jo Davis, age 47 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop on U. S. Route 30 in Rock Falls.  Sauk Valley Towing assisted on scene.
 
03/15/14 at 9:07 p.m.  Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3800 Block of U. S. Route 30 for a vehicle that disobeyed the stop sign.  Evan J. Jones, age 19 of Fulton, IL, was cited for Disobeying a Traffic Control Device as well as No Valid License.  Furthermore, passenger Kevin D. Clausen, age 18 of Clinton, IA, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by a Minor and released from the scene.
 
03/15/14 at 7:50 p.m.  Meagan A. Brown, age 28 of Marion, IA, was stopped for speeding on Interstate 88 at milepost 42, Rock Falls, IL.  She was cited for Speeding 80/70 MPH and arrested for a Henry County (IL) warrant for Failure to Appear – Driving While License Suspended.  The required bond was posted without incident.
 
03-16-14 at 1:00 a.m.  Elaine D. Tribble, age 37 of Sterling, IL,was arrested by Deputies on U. S. Route 30 in Rock Falls, IL, for two Counts of DUI and Improper Lane Usage.  She was processed at the Rock Falls Police Department and released with a Notice to Appear.  Williams’ Towing assisted on scene.
 
03/16/14 at 1:30 a.m.  Jamaar E. Turner, age 26 of Sterling, IL, was stopped on U. S. Route 30 for speeding over the posted limit.  Upon further investigation Jamaar did not have a valid Illinois Driver’s License.  Jamaar was cited for No Valid License and released from the scene.
 
03/16/14 at 3:02 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies responded to a report of an accident with a subject walking along Interstate 88 near mile post 23.  Isaac E. Bell, age 26 of East Moline, IL, was arrested for Driving Too Fast for Conditions, Driving Under the Influence, and Resisting a Peace Officer.  Isaac was transported to the Whiteside County Jail and held in lieu of bond.  Bright’s Towing assisted on scene.
 
03-16-14 at 9:14 p.m.  Parker S. Watson, age 19 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for speeding 97/55 MPH on IL Route 40 south of Rock Falls.  He was released on scene without incident.
 
03-16-14 at 11:46 p.m.  Samantha Kawalec, age 18 of Lincolnshire, IL, was stopped on Interstate 88 for speeding and cited for Speeding 81/70 MPH as well as Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  Lastly, she received a written warning for Improper Lane Usage (Left Lane on Interstate).
 
03-17-14 at 12:18 a.m.  Kyle J. Rhodes, age 30 of Sterling, IL, was stopped in Rock Falls, IL, for No Front Registration Plate.  He was subsequently arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and received a written warning for No Front Registration Plate.
