The theme of “Briagdoon” centers around the question of what one is willing to give up for love.  When American tourists Tommy and Jeff become lost on vacation in the Scottish Highlands, they stumble into Brigadoon, a mythical village that appears for only one day every 100 years.

No outsider can remain in Brigadoon unless he or she has fallen in love.  And, no resident can ever leave, or the village will vanish forever.  When Tommy falls for a village girl, Fiona, he is forced to choose between returning to the world he knows, or taking a chance on life and love in the mysterious Brigadoon.
