Anthony E. “Tony” Tiemann, 50, of Peoria, IL, formerly of Lyndon, IL, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born August 27, 1963, in Kewanee, IL, to George and Clara (Barlow) Tiemann. He married Lesia Kirk on October 15, 1985, in Kimball, NE. He was employed at Komatsu in Peoria since 1985 and, at the time of his death, was a Senior Design Engineer.
Survivors include his wife; his father and stepmother, George (Helen L.) Tiemann of Wyoming; IL; five siblings, Amber (Joe) Morris of Cuba, MO, Regina (Carl) Craig of Rock Falls, IL, Ann (Chris) Ford of Prophetstown, IL, Adam (Pamela) Tiemann of Erie, IL, and Ashley (Isabel) Tiemann of St. Joseph, MI; 14 nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and great-nephews; two sisters-in-law, Darlene (Phil) Eckland of Morrison, IL, and Kathy (Keven) Walker of Dix, NE.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his mother-in-law, Margaret Walgren; one nephew; one great-niece.
Visitation was from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria, IL.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2014, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2014, at Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown, IL.
