We continue our exploration of Human Rights at our next Whiteside Forum event Thursday January 23, 2014, at 6:30 p.m., in the Program Room of the Odell Public Library. The library is located at 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL. The public in cordially invited to attend the first program of the New Year.
Antony Deter, Morrison High School Librarian and Social Studies teacher, will present “Human Rights: The History of Natural Rights, Civil Rights and Civility. Why is it so hard?”
Deter is originally from England. He will make his presentation and lead us in discussion with a focus on genocide and our concepts of justice.
