The Morison Mustangs opened the 13th Annual Cliff Warkins Memorial Cardinal Classic at Erie High School by topping the Lena-Winslow Panthers 43-42.
Hunter Hamstra shouldered the Mustangs by dominating the inside game and leading all scores with 20 points. The first three quarters were controlled by the Mustangs, but they had to withstand the Panthers’ surge in the fourth to gain the win.
