Emmette Eileen Rhodes, infant daughter of Olivia Rhodes, went to Heaven on Friday, November 29, 2013.
Emmette was born August 27, 2013, in Sterling, IL.
Surviving are her mother, Olivia Rhodes, of Polo, IL; her grandparents, Michelle (Steven) Ogan of Polo and Christopher Kirst of Morrison, IL; great-grandparents, Moe (Mary) Rhodes of Sterling, Lucy Kirst of Camanche, IA, Mike (Linda) Conley of Franklin Grove, IL, and Steven (Debra) Ogan of Rock Falls, IL; great-great-grandparents, Phil (Pam) Ogan of Grand Detour, IL, and Linda Robertson of Dixon, IL; her aunts, Mikalah Rhodes and Abbi Kirst; uncles, Mason Rhodes, Nolan Robertson, Stevie Ogan, Zachary Lewis, Grant Kirst, and Dawson Kirst; great-aunts and -uncles, Jamie Ogan, Dave Essex, Dustin Rhodes, Deanna Schultz, and Kassandra (Tony) Denning.
She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandmother, Ida Brown, and her great-grandfather, Don “Rocket” Kirst.
Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2013, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home in Sterling, IL.
The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Scott Whalen officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, IL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends bring an angel ornament with their name on it to hang on Emmette’s memorial tree.
