Anna B. Haendler, 90, Morrison, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013, at The Alverno Health Care Center, in Clinton, IA.
She was born September 22, 1923, and raised in Pennsylvania, marrying Philip G. Haendler on May 11, 1944. He died May 31, 2010.
Ann is survived by her two daughters, Carol (Dave) Poncez and Deb (Roger) VanDerLeest; her six grandchildren, Tracy (Bob) Edler, Heather (Sean) Shire, Amy (Jacob) Aiello, Shannon (Cory Snow) Huizenga, Dan (Aris) VanDerLeest, Kiley VanDerLeest; eight great-grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Per Ann’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
A private family memorial service has been planned.
Cremation rights have been accorded.
