Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, October 18, 2013.
The following Arrests are reported.
On Wednesday, October 16, 2013, Morrison Police arrested Jeremy T. Russie, age 36 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Rusk County, WI, charging Russie with the Failure to Pay Child Support. Russie was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Monday, October 21, 2013, at approximately 12:00 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Jacob E. Davis, age 24 of Fulton, IL, on W. Main Street at N. Base Street for a moving violation. After further investigation during the traffic stop, Davis was arrested for Disobeying a Stop Sign, No Valid Driver’s License, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Davis was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed and then released on a Notice to Appear, with a court date of Thursday, November 21, 2013.
On Saturday, October 26, 2013, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Morrison Police received a report of a possible drunk driver southbound on IL RT 78 north of Morrison, IL. Morrison Police located the vehicle and ultimately conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by Lukas D. Boeger, age 27 of Rock City, IL, in the 700 block of W. Lincolnway for a moving violation. After further investigation during the traffic stop, Boeger was arrested for Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Boeger was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and then released on a Notice to Appear, with a court date of Thursday, December 5, 2013.
On Sunday, October 27, 2013, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Morrison Police received a report of a possible underage drinking party at 315 E. Main Street in Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested Damian A. Rieck, age 21 of Morrison, for Unlawful Delivery of Alcoholic Liquor to a Minor. Morrison Police also arrested the following four individuals for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor; Ike Morris IV, age 20 of Morrison, Kaitlyn T. Garcia, age 20 of Morrison, Thomas I. Losh, age 18 of Savanna, IL, Elizabeth N. Bos, age 20 of Morrison, and a female juvenile, age 15 of Lyndon, IL. All individuals were released on a Notice to Appear, with a court date of Monday, December 2, 2013. The female juvenile was released to her parents.
