Boil Order in Effect North of Highway 30

As of Monday, October 7, 2013, all City of Morrison, IL, residents who live north of U. S. Route 30 are advised to boil all water used for cooking and drinking for at least five minutes.  This Boil Order is given as a precaution only.  There is no evidence the water is unsafe.  The Boil Order was declared due to a water main break at Ash Avenue and Elm Street.  The order is in effect until further notice.  Residents in the affected area will be notified when the Order has been lifted, or they  may call City Hall at 815-772-7657 to inquire.
