Morrison Community Hospital Foundation’s Big Squeeze Committee has planned “Run for the Roses,” a Kentucky Derby themed fundraising event” on Saturday, October 5, 2013, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy heavy hors d’ oeuvres, lively libations, trend-settings toppers, horse races, and more derby-related fun! Proceeds will directly benefit MCH by contributing toward the purchase of an analog mammography unit, as well as other health care enhancing equipment.”
This event simulates horse racing glamour with hats worn by men and women alike. Choose a topper from your collection, make a new one for the event, or purchase a hat during the style show and auction. Here is a sneak preview of cleverly-named head coverings, which have been decorated for the event. The models are staffers at MCH, who assembled on Friday, September 13, 2013, in the hospital lobby.
