On Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at approximately 6:48 p.m., the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Department responded to Harbor Drive in Rock Falls, IL, for a report of a body found floating in Holland Creek. The name of the individual is being withheld pending further investigation by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Department.
Assisting agencies were the Rock Falls Fire Department, CGH Ambulance Service, and the Whiteside County Coroner. Special thanks is extended to the Rock River Pool and Golf club for the use of their equipment.
09/08/13 at 12:20 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, Whiteside County Sheriff Deputies arrested Trishia L. Hamdorf, 45 of Prophetstown, IL. She was charged with two counts of Driving under the Influence, Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Signal when Required, and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. The passenger, Timothy J. Lemke, 41, of Erie, IL, was charged with Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Both were released on Notices to Appear.
09/07/13 at 12:30 a.m. Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies with the assistance of Erie Police responded to a report of an underage drinking party in rural Erie, IL. As a result the following subjects were arrested for Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor: Ashton W. B. Hutton, 20, Albany, IL; Tyler M. Easley, 20, of Fulton, IL; Ryan H. Beiermann, 19, Albany, IL; Aaron B. Schultz, 20, Clinton, IA; Tanner S. Jackson, 19, of Fulton. Also as a result, Amy Klockenga, 39, of Erie was arrested for five counts of Contributing Alcohol to a Minor. All subjects were released on Notices to Appear.
These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
