Beverly Strating Voss, 71, of Fulton, IL, died Sunday, September 1, 2013, at her home.
Beverly was born November 7, 1941, in Morrison, IL, the daughter of John and Anna (Pessman) Strating. She was raised in Erie, IL, and graduated from Erie High School in 1959. She married Gene Voss on April 28, 1967, at Newton Zion Reformed Church, in Erie. She worked at Fidelity Life Insurance Company from 1959 until 1967 when she became a full-time homemaker. She was employed with Compudata Services (later Data Dimensions Corporation) from 1986 until she retired in 2001. She was a member of Spring Valley Reformed Church, Fulton, since 1971.
Survivors include her husband, Gene; three daughters, Brenda (Ralph) Liles of Camanche, IA, Marla of Bettendorf, IA, and Tricia Voss of DeWitt, IA; two grandsons, Jacob Liles and Joshua Liles of Camanche; four sisters, Betty (Delbert) Nissen of Clinton, IA; Barbara Fetterolf of Belvidere, IL, Irma (Neil) Decker of Prophetstown, IL, Evelyn (Dale) Hanson of Morrison, IL, 13 nieces and five nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ilene Snyder, and three brothers-in-law, Berkely Fetterolf, Dale Snyder, and Allan Voss.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton, IL, and on Thursday, September 5, 2013, from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at Spring Valley Reformed Church in rural Fulton, IL.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 5, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Spring Valley Reformed Church in rural Fulton, IL.
Burial will be at Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL.
Memorials have been established to Genesis Health System Hospice and Spring Valley Reformed Church.
