The Illinois Corn Maze at Blue Goose Run, 14609 Blue Goose Road, Sterling, IL, will open Thursday, September 5, 2013. This year’s theme is “Mystery Maze IV.” This is the largest corn maze in Northwestern Illinois, where the public is invited to “Come out and lose someone!”
The cost is free to supervised children age five and under and $5 for supervised children ages six through 11. For everyone age 12 and over the entry fee is $7.
Groups of 15 or more also pay $5 apiece. They can reserve special tour hours and bonfires by calling 815-772-7200.
Choose the following days and times. After dark, bring a flashlight.
- On Thursday and Friday travel the maze beginning at 5:00 p.m., with the last entry at 8:30.
- On Saturday and Friday travel the maze beginning at 11:00 a.m., with the last entry at 8:30 p.m.
- On Sunday travel the maze beginning at 11:00 a.m., with the last entry at 5:00 p.m.
The Corn Crib Restaurant is open Thursday through Saturday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Facilities exist for banquets, and a pavilion and covered patio are suitable for small receptions.
Blue Goose Run is one-half mile north of U. S. Route 30 on Blue Goose Road, between Rock Falls, and Morrison, IL.
