The search for a Morrison, IL, City Administrator moves closer to selection of a candidate. Four males will be interviewed on Saturday, August 24, 2013, beginning at 9:45 a.m. in the lower-level, Conference Room of City Hall, 200 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL.
These finalists will not be introduced to the public at this time.
There were women applicants, but none made the final screening.
Mayor Everett Pannier stated, “After Saturday, we hope to know [whether] to reinterview [some candidates] or be in a position to reconvene and make an offer.”
He added that each candidate brings experience in Administration or Management.
Assisting Mayor Pannier in the collaborative interviews will be City Council Aldermen; Department Heads plus one citizen; Office Staff.
Additionally, two Morrison residents will take the candidates on a walk-around and will “share their informal impressions with the Council.”
The potential candidates for City of Morrison City Administrator are
- William Catalano III worked in Le Roy, IL–population 3500+
- Barry Dykhuizen is from Guttenberg, IA–population less than 2000
- David Strohl is from Morton, IL–population 16,000+
- Ryan Wiesen is from Monticello, WI–population under 3800.
