Visitors to the Morrison Farmers’ Market, behind Morrison’s Heritage Museum, 202 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, may have noticed the addition of some new volunteers this season.
Morrison High School basketball players stepped up to volunteer their Saturday mornings helping the market committee and vendors set-up and tear down the market.
Their efforts not only have aided in the success of the market this year, but have provided the players with a positive connection to the community in which they live.
