Eight-year-old Blaze Hicks of Morrison, IL, won a new bicycle in the afternoon drawing Wednesday, August 14, 2013.  It was donated by Morrison Community State Bank. 

Judges awarded presentations in Junior and Open Departments of Junior Floriculture, Open Horticulture, Dairy, Swine, and Agricultural Products on Day 2 at the 143rd Annual Whiteside County Fair.   Youth and adults displayed their best throughout.  Todd Mickley, Morrison, issued the following Publicity Report.  Towns listed are assumed to be Illinois, unless otherwise noted.

Austin Zink of Rock Falls earned Premier Exhibitor Honors Iin the Junior Floriculture Show for the 2nd year in a row.  Zink also shared the Most Blue Ribbons Honor with Haley M. Oosterhouse and Luke Millard, both of Morrison.  Each earned three Blue Ribbons.
