Beginning Monday, May 3, 2021, patrons are again welcome to stop by Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, any time during open hours.
The library has required patrons to make appointments to browse and use computers since July 2020.
Odell staff is eager to take this step toward normalcy, but urges patrons to follow guidelines. First and foremost, face masks covering the nose and mouth are still required. Patrons will be asked to keep visits short.
Much of the furniture is still in storage, as are toys and games, to discourage lingering. Computer use will be limited to 45 minutes per patron/per day.
Curbside service will continue for those not quite ready to come in, or who simply prefer the convenience.
The Odell Board of Directors will continue to review County and State COVID-19 data looking forward, as we work to serve the community safely.
Welcome back to your public library!
