In America, we have celebrated Mother’s Day for 107 official years. On Sunday, May 9, 2021, Morrison United Methodist Church will celebrate, by asking everyone to “Bring Mom to Church” for our 9:00 a.m. service, at 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison IL.
We ask that you wear a mask, are socially distanced, and call for reservations at 815-499-3383.
Most of us would love to spend the day with Mom. However, many of our mothers are no longer with us, or live too far away, or have a job that does not allow a day off. Instead, “Bring Mom to Church,” by bringing a photo of her. You may place your framed photo on the altar, organ, railing, etc. If your picture is unframed, there will be an appropriate time in the service to share your mother’s photo.
We invite the public to join us for this unique day, when we honor these special women in our lives.
