Morrison Garden Club again is sponsoring a Spring Coloring Contest, with the help of Odell Public Library; it runs through Wednesday, May 5, 2021. There are three age categories: ages 3-5; 6-8; 9-10-year-olds. An age-appropriate, garden-related prize will be given to the winner of each category.
Prizes are on display at Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, in Morrison, IL. Each prize basket also includes a gift certificate to K & R Greenhouse in Morrison.
The rules of the contest follow.
1) Contest is open to all children between the ages of three and ten years old.
2) Entry must be the child’s own work and on the official coloring page provided, available at the library.
3) Only one entry per child.
4) Any medium may be used: crayons, markers, colored pencils, paints, etc.
5) On the back of the coloring page the child’s name, age, contact name, and phone number must be written, to be eligible for a prize.
6) Entries must be dropped off by Wednesday, May 5, at the library to be eligible for judging.
