May 2 Emmanuel Reformed Church Services

The Sunday, May 2, 2021, Worship Services at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 202 E. Morris Street, Morrison, IL, will have Pastor Luke continuing his Spring message series, “Obscure Bible Characters.”  His second message, “Ehud,” drawn from Judges 3.  Masks are Mandatory at the 8:30 service and Recommended at 10:00 a.m.

.Reservations are no longer needed to attend in-person.  Simply come and join us!

At the 10:00 service, the Sanctuary Choir will sing “It’s About the Cross,” as recorded by the Ball Brother.  First Sunday will lead the Worship set at both services.  Ministry Coordinator Rich Criss will be the Organist for the service, providing the prelude, interlude, and postlude.

The Youth Fellowship of Emmanuel Church will host a Cinco de Mayo Drive-Through Dinner, on Wednesday, May 5, at Emmanuel.  They will serve from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.  The menu consists of two flour Tortilla Tacos with one Flour Enchilada, rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, salsa, and dessert. This event will raise funds for their summer mission trip, to work at the Rockford Rescue Mission.

Emmanuel will host a community Blood Drive for the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, on Monday, May 10, from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m.  Appointments and masks are required.  To schedule an appointment, please contact Deb Eissens at 309-714-2008.
