The long-awaited Main Street construction modernization will begin the last week of April 2021. Over several months, it will involve extensive work from Orange Street east to Clinton Street.
City Administrator Barry Dykhuizen, ICMA-CM, announced, “Construction is scheduled to start at Orange Street and Main Street the week of April 26, 2021. Motorists should be alert to signage placed by the contractor throughout the project.
“Not all of Main Street will be closed all of the time. The project will occur in sections and phases. Whenever the construction allows, vehicles will be allowed to pass through.”
