Jule Kay Johnson, 76, of Sterling, IL, died, Friday April 9, 2021, at her home.
Jule was born December 21, 1944, in Sterling, to Claude F. and Marian L. (Graff) Schumacher. She attended Sterling Newman Schools. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Sauk Valley College in 1986. She married John S. Johnson on January 5, 199,7 in Las Vegas, NV. Jule was employed at the Dixon Prison for 20 years as a Nurse. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sterling.
Survivors include her husband, John; daughter, Debra; sons, Mike (Betty) Reed of Rock Falls, IL, and Steven (Stacey) Reed of Morrison, IL; four grandchildren; brother, Tom (Julie) Schumacher of Morrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private family Graveside Service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Sterling, IL. Rev. Father Bruce Ludeke, Pastor at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sterling, IL, will officiate.
The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
