The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Friday, March 26, 2021.
Arrests: On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at approximately 10:37 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Jacob A. Jensen-While, age 20 of Calamus, IA, for an equipment violation in the 100 block of W. Lincolnway. As a result of the traffic stop, Jensen-While was issued a warning citation for No Rear Registration Lamp. A passenger, Alexander L. O’Haver, age 21 of Wheatland, IA, was issued a citation for Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle and charged with Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (Class B Misdemeanor.) O’Haver was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and released on a Notice to Appear.
On Saturday, April 3, 2021, at approximately 2:05 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Haley D. M. Zuidema, age 31 of Sterling, IL, for moving and registration violations in the 700 block of E. Lincolnway. As a result of the traffic stop, Zuidema was issued a warning Citation for Improper Lane Usage and was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol.) Zuidema was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and released on a Notice to Appear.
