The Whiteside Forum will host Adventure Travel specialist Victor Selmon, owner of “No Plans Adventures LLC” (noplansadventures.com), on Thursday, March 25, 2021, via Zoom from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Selmon will give a short presentation with plenty of time allowed for questions and answers.

Selmon is from Morrison, IL, and is a 2009 graduate of Morrison High School. He has traveled to over 75 Countries and 50 States. In addition he “through-hiked” the entire 2200-mile-long Appalachian Trail in consecutive days.
Marc Adami noted, “It’s an accomplishment! It is a wilderness trail; you have to bring all your” gear, food, and accommodations. “About 5000 have tried [to maneuver the entire trail], but 100 have finished.”
Selmon is a Nationally certified EMT and a Certified Scuba Instructor, with a Class A Skydiving license. No Plans Adventures LLC offers adventures that include sailing, hiking, road trips, diving, and customized trips off the beaten path.
He states, “I’ve been globetrotting for over 15 years now. During the last few years, I discovered my love for showing people new worlds, to help push individuals beyond their comfort zones, and to show that travel really is attainable for everyone.”

The Whiteside Forum, established in 1985, is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit community group. It sponsors presentations and discussions of issues of importance and interest to the public. Issues chosen for conferences have an international dimension as well as local interest and importance. The organization is supported entirely by individual, special, and business contributions.
