In fact, her virbrant display looked like a fantasy garden from Alice in Wonderland or Willy Wonka films.

“I started this last winter, and I got addicted!  I have 12 in my garden,” Klavenga stated.  The sparkling glass towers and flowers could easily live together and complement each other. However, there is uniqueness to each piece.

“I saw some in LeClaire[, IA,], but theirs were pretty blah.  I opted for color.”

The crafter suggested several uses for the repurposed dinnerware, vases, bottles, and pitchers:

  • candle holder
  • bird feeder
  • bird waterer
  • flower pot decor
  • garden art
  • pond border display
  • flag pole base embellishment.

Klavenga sells mounting poles.  Just add sunshine for sparkle.
