Eric A. Smith, 41, of Morrison, IL, died on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Morrison Community Hospital in Morrison.
Eric was born on December 4, 1979, in Sterling, IL, the son of Jeffrey Smith and Patricia Williamson. Eric was employed by Tyson Foods. He was well-loved by his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia (Richard) Williamson of Sterling; children, Eric, Jr., Jennifer, Erica, Joseph, Brysen, and Tristen; sisters, Tammy (Steve Cassens) Engelkens of Dixon, IL, Tonya (Brick Boss) Smith of Rock Falls, IL, and Elizabeth Schick of Sterling; five brothers, Cody Robnett, Christopher Dahlberg, and Jeremey (Sheila) Udell, all of Rock Falls, Cody (Courtney) Walters of Dixon, and Chad Williamson of Rock Falls.
Eric was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Smith; sister, Jennifer Smith; maternal and paternal grandparents.
Masks and social distancing will be in effect for a public Visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Monday, February 15, 2021, at McDonald Funeral Home, 505 1st Avenue, Sterling, IL.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating.
Burial will conclude at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
