Empty stands greeted the opening game of the Girls Basketball seasons for Morrison and Fulton High Schools, on Monday, February 8, 2021. Superintendent Scott Vance, of Morrison Community Unit District #6 stated, due to health guidelines for fan attendance, “at this time our facilities are not large enough to meet these guidelines….Therefore we will not be allowing fans to attend home games.” Live streaming is available for home games.
Morrison’s Shelby Veltrop attempts a short jumper, contested by Fulton’s Liz Fish (22) and Reese Dykstra (10.) The Fillies fell to the Fulton Steamers 59 to 35.
