Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, January 8, 2021.
Arrests: On Friday, January 8, 2021, at approximately 4:37 p.m., Morrison Police responded to an Emergency 911 call at 631 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Taylor J. Dykstra, age 19 of Morrison, with Criminal Damage to Property, Criminal Trespass to Real Property, Obstructing a Peace Officer, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Dykstra was transported to the Whiteside County Jail. Morrison Police were assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Michael T. Black, age 46 of Sterling, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant, issued by Whiteside County, charging Black with Failure to Appear-Driving While License Suspended. Black was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
