“Morrison Community Hospital, 303 N. Jackson Street, Morrison , IL, would like to thank the Church Women United of Sterling and Rock Falls for their generous donation,” stated Mick Welding, Marketing Director at MCH. “Church Women United of Sterling and Rock Falls wanted to thank everyone at MCH for their dedication to our elderly during this 2020 pandemic.”
A benevolent, female, Christmas angel gave $1,000,000 to Church Women United of Sterling and Rock Falls, so they group could make donations to area businesses.
“The $1000 check will be used for COVID-19 related expenses. Carol offered many thanks to all of our staff for our caring hearts and for remaining strong and faithful in our good works. The intent of the donation was to recognize our employees for their emotional and physical strength needed for our jobs.”
The women noted that “like angels all around us, hospital staff members are often unnoticed until [they] are needed.”
Presenting him a check on Thursday, December 10, 2020, is Carol Siefken. Welding concluded, “This donation was so timely, and we want to thank this wonderful group of ladies for their generosity!”
