November 15 Sheriff’s Office Report

These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

On 11-10-20 at 10:51 a.m., Whiteside County Deputies responded to a single-vehicle roll-over crash with injuries, on Harvey Road west of Galt, IL.  A 16-year old female from Coleta, IL, was traveling westbound on Harvey Road when she lost control of the vehicle.  It entered the south ditch, struck a tree stump, and then overturned.  She and her two passengers, Kalin O’Bryan, age 18 of Prophetstown, IL, and Israel A. Hernandez, age 22 of Sterling, IL, were transported to CGH Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.  Sterling Fire, Rock Falls Fire, CGH EMS, and Slim-n-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.  The driver was cited for Too Fast for Conditions with other charges pending.

On 11-14-20 at 8:17 a.m., Zackery A. Letcher, age 25 of Franklin Grove, IL, was stopped for tinted windows on U. S. Route 30 at Galt Road.  Letcher was cited for Unlawful Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle and released with a Promise to Comply.  Illinois State Police assisted on scene.

On 11/14/20 at 3:51 p.m., Jesus E. Perez, age 24 of Belvidere, IL was stopped on Interstate 88 near Milepost 19 for speeding.  He was cited for Speeding 91 MPH in a 70 MPH zone and for having No Valid Driver’s License.  He was released with an I-bond with a mandatory court appearance required.

On 11/15/20 at 10:54 a.m., Whiteside County Deputies were dispatched to U. S. Route 30 and Fulfs Road for a one-vehicle crash involving an injury.  Through the investigation, it was determined that Chandra S. Paschal, age 48 of Morrison, IL, was traveling westbound on Fulfs Road when she ran off the roadway.  Paschal was cited for Improper Driving – On Shoulder and released with a Promise to Comply.  She was transported to CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL, for treatment of her injuries.  Whiteside County Deputies were assisted by Morrison Fire Department, CGH EMS, and Hunter’s Towing.
