Make Teal Real Committee raised over $8000 at the 7th Annual Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser, with the two-night event held at Cross Creek Golf Course, 15523 Henry Road, Morrison, IL. Friday night, June 22, over 140 people attended the Midwest Dueling Pianos entertainment, which included hors d’oeurves, auction items, dessert dash, and a fun night had by all!
Saturday morning, June 23, 22 teams released teal balloons and ten doves in memory of loved ones. The teams then teed off for an 8-person scramble.
Funds will be donated to OCRF for continued ovarian cancer research, as well as allowing us to support the community and surrounding areas through education, scholarships, and by supporting those who are fighting this dreadful disease.
