Rock Falls under Boil Order

The City of Rock Falls, IL, residents and businesses are under a Boil Order, as of 8:00 a.m., Monday, September 7, 2020.  The order is expected to last approximately 48 hours, so it should expire the morning of Wednesday, September 9.

While in effect, municipal/tap water should not be used for eating, drinking, preparing food, baby formula, ice, drinks, dishwashing, or brushing teeth.  Individuals should use bottled water or bring tap water to a rolling boil, for at least five minutes, and allow to cool before use.
