Morrison High School’s Class of 1973 has planned three events at the end of July 2013 to celebrate its 40th reunion.
A picnic celebration will be held on Saturday, July 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Rockwood State Park’s Lakeview Pavilion. Food will be served beginning at 2:00 p.m. A group photo will be taken at 5:00, with an informal program starting at about 6:00.
Other friends of the class are invited to attend, with a special invitation to the Classes of 1972 and 1974 and their teachers.
The cost is $12 per person. Payments made to “Morrison Class of 1973” should be sent to Susie Ottens, 304 S. Clinton Street, Morrison, IL 61270.
Two additional events are scheduled for Friday, July 26.
- A golf outing will be held at Rock River Golf and Pool, 3901 Dixon Avenue, in Rock Falls, IL, starting at 2:00 p.m.
- Those who would like to go trapshooting are invited to stop by Morrison Sportsmen’s Club, 8420 Garden Plain Road, Morrison, between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m.
