Rickey Lee Milnes, 62, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, April 25, 2020, at his home.
Rickey was born June 7, 1957, in Sterling, IL, to Ronald F. and Virginia “Ginny” F. (Bowen) Milnes. He was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and was a 1976 graduate of Morrison High School. Rickey was employed for 43 years at WestRock in Clinton, IA. He was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church in Morrison, IL. Rickey enjoyed golfing, playing softball, and bowling, and he was an avid fisherman. He was an avid Cardinals fan.
Survivors include sister, Debra (Rich) Dunaway of Morrison; brother, Dan (Kathy) Milnes of Morrison; step-brothers, Shannon Kimmer, Allan (Sara) Kimmer, and Rowdy Kimmer, all of Clinton, IA; son, Justin Stolk of Elvira, IA; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Faye “Ginny” Kimmer; father, Ronald F. Milnes; step-father, James E. Kimmer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL.
A memorial to St. Jude Children’s Hospital has been established.
