The 7th Annual Katie Zuidema Memorial Poker Ride is set for Saturday, July 20, 2013. Sign-up from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Hero’s Tap, 208 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL. The entry fee is $10 per person. The last bike will be out at 11:00.
Half the proceeds will go to the Katie Zuidema Memorial Scholarship. Half will go to the Morrison Fire Department, which was such an influence and support group for the Zuidema family. Donations are being taken; kindly contact Dawn Zuidema at 815-622-6490 to contribute.
There will be a silent auction from 5:00 to 7:00, with drawings, fun, and a bake sale during the event.
A pulled pork meal is available for $7.
Dawn stated, “If you cannot make the ride, please join us for food and fun. This is always a fun-filled day, open to anyone.”
