These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven gulity.
On 3/21/20 at 12:54 a.m., Whiteside County Deputies were dispatched to West Avenue in Sterling, IL, for a physical domestic. Upon further investigation, Andrew J. Franklin, age 42 of Sterling, was arrested for Domestic Battery. Andrew was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed without incident and held, in lieu of court.
On 3/22/20 at 3:40 a.m., Whiteside County Deputies were dispatched to the area of Dixon Avenue and Sunset Drive for a minor two-vehicle crash. Upon further investigation, Jamie L. Duffy, age 40 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. Jamie was processed at the Rock Falls Police Department, where she was released with a Notice to Appear. Assisting on scene was Rock Falls Police Department and Slim-n-Hank’s.
On 3/26/20 at 3:45 a.m., Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash with injuries, on IL Route 84 about 1-mile north of Fulton, IL. The vehicle was being driven by 30-year-old Justin Fritz of Clinton, IA. He was traveling southbound on IL Route 84 when he lost control of his vehicle. It ended up traveling into the west ditch and striking several trees adjacent to the roadway, before coming to rest. Fritz, the only occupant, was transported to Mercy One Medical for treatment of his injuries. A citation will be issued for Improper Driving on the Shoulder. Deputies were assisted on scene by Fulton Police Department, Fulton Fire Department, Fulton Ambulance, as well as Midwest Collision.
