Calvin Don Vail, 86, of Morrison, IL, died Friday, February 21, 2020, at his home.
Calvin was born January 7, 1934, in Princeton, IL, to Daniel and Edith (Ziegler) Vail. He was educated in the Marshall County, IL, grade schools and graduated from high school in Marshall County. Calvin served in the U. S. Army, in Germany during the Korean Conflict. On June 2, 1960, he married Carol Lea Constanzo in Streator, IL. When Calvin was young he helped out on the family farm. Later he was the Service Manager for Haskell’s Office Equipment in Sterling, IL, until his retirement. Calvin enjoyed watching sports, especially NASCAR and football.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; son, Kevin Vail of Temecula, CA; two grandchildren, Danielle and Mitchell Vail.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private, family graveside service will be held at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL.
There will be no visitation.
