Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Wednesday, November 27, 2019.
Arrests: On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at approximately 11:56 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Jose D. Hernandez Avalos, age 63 of Rock Falls, IL. The traffic stop occurred on E. Lincolnway at N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL, for a lane violation. As a result of the investigation during the traffic stop, Morrison Police arrested and charged Hernandez Avalos with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Improper Lane Usage, and Operating Uninsured Vehicle. Hernandez Avalos was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
