The Canadian Pacific Railway’s “Holiday Train” will stop in Clinton, IA, on Saturday, December 7, 2019, during its annual United States tour.
The train is scheduled to arrive about 6:40 p.m., in the Lyons District, on the east end of Main Avenue, near the Sawmill Museum. The visit is scheduled for 6:45 to 7:15.
Entering its 21st year, the CP Holiday Train uses music and community spirit to raise money and generate healthy food donations for food banks in communities along CP’s railway. Since 1999, the program has helped collect 4.5 million pounds of food.
