Wonderful LifeRadioPlayMorrison Music Theater Association will present “It’s A Wonderful Life:  A Live Radio Play” on Friday, December 6, 2019, at the Morrison Institute of Technology auditorium, 701 Portland Avenue (south IL Route 78), Morrison, IL, at 7:00 p.m.

Be seated before the start time, to watch characters “prepare” for the radio broadcast.

This iconic movie story, presented in the unique, humorous format of an old time radio broadcast, will appeal to all ages.  Admission is free, although donations will be accepted and appreciated.

Radio shows in the 20th century were performed in front of a live audience, which provided background laughter and encouragement to the cast.  Attendees will play the role of audience members.  Commercials, featuring products from the 1940s, are part of the performance and provide additional humor.

Director for this production is MMTA veteran Kim Meyers of Prophetstown, IL.  The critical position of The Foley, or sound effects person, will be filled by Bob Stone, of Morrison.

Performers had fun with special effects equipment.  Left-to-right are Director Meyers, Kraig Schweiss, Dianne Helbig, and Stone.
