Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, November 15, 2019.
Arrests: On Sunday, November 17, 2019, at approximately 9:14 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 321 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL, after receiving a report of a domestic at this residence. As the result of an investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Philip J. Halas, age 45 of Morrison, with Aggravated Domestic Battery (Class 2 Felony.) Halas was transported to the Whiteside County Jail. The Morrison Police were assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office with this incident.
On Friday, November 22, 2019, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 409 Park Court, Morrison, IL, regarding a report of a theft that occurred at this residence. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Allyison M. Mucci, age 18 of Morrison, with Theft (Under $500 – Class A Misdemeanor.) Mucci was transported to the Whiteside County Jail and was processed and released on a Notice to Appear.
