The Whiteside Forum will host Chelsey Ferguson and Kristi Wambeke, Physical Therapists at Rock Valley Physical Therapy, 635 E. Lincolnway (lower level), Morrison, IL, on Thursday, November 21, 2019, in the Program Room of Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, starting at 6:30 p.m.
These health professionals will discuss posture, how it effects our health, and how we can all take better care of ourselves.
The Whiteside Forum, established in 1985, is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit community group, which sponsors presentations and discussions of issues of importance and interest to the public. Issues chosen for conferences have an International dimension, as well as local interest and importance. The organization is supported entirely by individual, special, and business contributions. All events are free and open to the public.
Chelsey Ferguson grew up, and still resides, in Mt. Carroll, IL. She received her BS in 2014 and her DPT in 2016, both from Carroll University. Outside of work, she enjoys sports and being with family and friends. She became a Physical Therapist, because she wanted to help people learn how to help themselves and to help them prevent future injuries.
Kristi Wambeke received her Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University in 1997. She is from Minnesota and resides in Morrison. She enjoys bicycling and gardening. “I became a PT, because I wanted to combine health with exercise as an occupation.”
