Thomas E. Duncan, 69, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at his home.
Thomas was born September 17, 1950, in Thorpe, WV, the son of Willie and Irene (Poff) Duncan. For many years, he was employed at GE in Morrison where he thought of his co-workers as family. He was a car enthusiast, especially race cars and any vehicle from the 1960s. Tom enjoyed spending time at the Wild Rose Casino in Clinton, IA.
He is survived by sisters, Kathy (Denny) Jacobs of Byron, IL, and Janice (Thomas) Karrow of Sterling, IL; brothers, Robert (Penny) Duncan of Sterling, William Duncan and Charles Duncan of Arkansas; many nieces and nephews; his dear friends, Brodie and Sarah Hayward of Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Meinsma.
Visitation was Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL.
The funeral was Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with Reverend Philip Gronbach officiating.
Burial was at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established.
