Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, September 27, 2019.
Arrests: On Monday, September 30, 2019, at approximately 4:26 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a domestic dispute at 115 W. High Street. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Joseph E. Broughton, age 29 of Clinton, IA, with Domestic Battery and Possession of Methamphetamine. Broughton was transported to the Whiteside County Jail. The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Morrison Police with this incident.
On Thursday, October 3, 2019, at approximately 1:05 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Adam M. Rumfelt, age 31 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Rumfelt with Violation of Probation-Forgery. Rumfelt was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at approximately 7:37 p.m., Morrison Police arrested April L. McManus, age 43 of Clinton, IA, pursuant to an Order of Commitment issued by Whiteside County. McManus was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
