Male Individual Taken to MercyOne Clinton Medical Center

On Thursday, September 26, 2019, Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton offered this update on an incident that was reported Tuesday, September 24.  That afternoon the Chief had advised Morrison Community Unit School District buildings to be placed on a soft lockdown, while MPD conducted a search for a possible suicidal subject.  There was no direct threat to the schools.  A Morrison, IL, male who lives near schools on the south side of town was located in Clinton, IA, with assistance of Clinton Police Department.  He was transferred by private vehicle to MercyOne Clinton Medical Center, Clinton.
