By public demand, the community will have a second chance to purchase delicious burritos and support a goal of two local women who are on a misison.
Pre-order your burritos by Friday, July 5, 2013, and support the El Salvador mission trip of these Morrison, IL, women: Paula Rodriguez at 815-535-8593 and Linda Temple at 815-499-9412.
Pick up the homemade delights at the Odell Public Library Community Room, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, on Saturday, July 6, between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
From Wednesday, August 21, through Tuesday, August 27, Rodriguez and Temple will deliver care packages for children and meet with as many as possible. It is estimated that “more than 50” children are being sponsored by Crossroads Church.
El Salvadoran translators help the children compose letters to send to the Morrison families during the year. Letters from the church children will accompany Rodriguez and Temple on their mission trip. The women will offer physical labor, too, perhaps repairing or building homes.
